Shift pedal
This machine is equipped with a constant-mesh
6-speed transmission. The shift pedal is located
on the left side of the engine and is used in com-
bination with the clutch when shifting.

Kick starter
Rotate the kick starter away from the engine.
Push the starter down lightly with your foot until
the gears engage, then kick smoothly and force-
fully to start the engine. This model has a prima-
ry-coupled kick starter so the engine can be
started in any gear if the clutch is disengaged.
However, shifting to neutral before starting is
recommended.

Pédale de sélection
Ce véhicule est équipé d’une boîte de vitesses à
prise constante et à 6 rapports. La pédale de
sélection est située sur le côté gauche du moteur
et s’utilise en combinaison avec l’embrayage
pour changer de vitesse.

Kick
Déployer la pédale de kick. Appuyer légèrement
sur la pédale pour mettre les pignons en prise,
puis l’actionner vigoureusement mais en sou-
plesse pour mettre le moteur en marche. Le kick
installé sur ce modèle permet la mise en marche
du moteur sur n’importe quelle vitesse, à condi-
tion de débrayer. Il est toutefois préférable
d’engager le point mort avant de mettre le
moteur en marche.

pedal del cambio se encuentra situado en el

Pedal de arranque
Girar el pedal de arranque para separarlo del
motor. Pisar ligeramente el pedal hasta que
engrane la corona de arranque. A continuación,
pisar el pedal suavemente pero con decisión
para poner en marcha el motor. En este modelo
el pedal de arranque se acopla al primario, de
manera que pueda ponerse en marcha del
motor en cualquier velocidad si está desembra-
gado. No obstante, se recomienda cambiar a
punto muerto antes de arrancar.

Pneus

pneus ne conviennent pas ou dont la pression
de gonflage de pneus est inégale ou incorrecte
pourrait entraîner une perte de contrôle du
véhicule et augmenter les risques d’accident.
Lire attentivement ce qui suit:
1. Les pneus énumérés ci-dessous ont été
approuvés pour ce modèle par Yamaha
Motor Co., Ltd. Il est déconseillé de mon-
ter d’autres pneus sur le VTT.
