To remove the head restraint, place it in the top position, pressthe tabs and pull it upwards.
To put it back in position, locate the stems of the restraint in theholes, taking care to keep themin line with the seat back.
2- Seat back angle adjustment Turn the knob.
3- Forwards-backwards adjustment (driver) Lift the control and slide the seat forwards or backwards.
SEATS

To raise or lower the restraint, slide it.
The adjustment is correct when the upper edge of thehead restraint is level withthe top of the head.

Never drive with the head restraints removed;they must be in placeand correctly adjusted.
Do not place heavyobjects in the drawers.
4- Storage drawer (version with passenger air bag) There is a storage drawer under the driver's or passenger seat.
To open it, lift it and pull.
5- Heated seats switch Press the switch. The tempera-
ture is controlled automatically. Pressing the switch again stops operation. Note: the command for activation
of heating of the seat(s) remains memorised for two minutes after
the ignition has been switched off.

For the front and side* air bags to be fully effective, observe the following safety rules:
¥ Wear a correctly adjusted seat belt.
¥ Sit in a normal upright position.
¥ Do not leave anything between the occupants of the front seats and the air bags (a child, pet, object...). This could hamper the operation of the air bags or injure the occupants.
¥ All work on the air bag system is strictly forbidden unless it is carried out by qualified personnel of the PEUGEOT network.
¥ After an accident or if the vehicle has been stolen or broken into, have the air bag systems checked. Front air bags
¥ Do not drive holding the steering wheel by its spokes or resting your hands on the centre part of the wheel.
¥ Passengers must not place their feet on the fascia.
¥ Smoke as little as possible; deployment of the air bags can cause burns or the risk of injury from a cigarette or pipe.
¥ Never remove or pierce the steering wheel or hit it violently. Side air bags*
¥ Only put approved covers on the front seats. Contact your PEUGEOT dealer.
¥ Do not fix or glue anything to the front seat backs. This could cause injury to the chest or arms when the side air bag inflates.
¥ Do not sit with the upper part of the body any nearer to the door than necessary.
