the windshield.

To aid in side window defogging/demisting in cold weather:

REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER
The rear defroster control is located on the instrument panel.
Press the rear defroster control to clear the rear window of thin ice and
fog.
•A small LED will illuminate when the rear defroster is activated.
The ignition must be in the ON position to operate the rear window
defroster.
The defroster turns off automatically after 14 minutes or when the
ignition is turned to the OFF position. To manually turn off the defroster
before 14 minutes have passed, push the control again.
Do not use razor blades or other sharp objects to clean the inside
of the rear window or to remove decals from the inside of the
rear window. This may cause damage to the heated grid lines and
will not be covered by your warranty.

HEADLAMP CONTROL
Turns the lamps off.
Turns on the parking
lamps, instrument panel lamps,
license plate lamps and tail lamps.
Turns the headlamps on.
Foglamp control (if equipped)
The headlamp control also operates
the foglamps. The foglamps can be
turned on when the headlamp
control is in the
position and
the high beams are not turned on.
Pull headlamp control towards you
to turn foglamps on. The foglamp
indicator light
(on the
instrument panel) will illuminate.
Daytime running lamps (DRL) (if equipped)
Turns the headlamps on with a reduced output.
To activate:
•the ignition must be in the ON position and
•the headlamp control is in the OFF or parking lamp.
Always remember to turn on your headlamps at dusk or during
inclement weather. The Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) system
does not activate with your tail lamps and generally may not provide
adequate lighting during these conditions. Failure to activate your
headlamps under these conditions may result in a collision.

High beams
Push the lever toward the
instrument panel to activate. Pull
the lever towards you to deactivate.
Flash to pass
Pull toward you slightly to activate
and release to deactivate.
PANEL DIMMER CONTROL
Use to adjust the brightness of the
instrument panel during headlight
and parklamp operation.
•Rotate the thumbwheel from left
to right to brighten the
instrument panel.
•Rotate the thumbwheel from right to left to dim the instrument panel.
Domelamp Control
The panel dimmer control also controls the domelamp operation.
•Rotate the thumbwheel fully to the right, past detent to activate the
domelamp.
•In order to turn off the domelamp, rotate the thumbwheel to the left.
VERTICAL AIM ADJUSTMENT
Your vehicle is fitted with eitherVOR(conventional halogen) orVOL
(High Intensity Discharge - HID) headlamps. The adjustment procedure
depends on the type of headlamps that are equipped on your vehicle.
VORis marked on the bottom inboard corner of the lens.VOLis marked
on the top of the lens between the rubber seal and black plastic housing.
Please check the lens markings prior to adjusting the vehicle aim.

Changing the wiper blades
1. Pull the wiper arm away from the
vehicle. Turn the blade at an angle
from the wiper arm. Push the lock
pin manually to release the blade
and pull the wiper blade down
toward the windshield to remove it
from the arm.
2. Attach the new wiper to the
wiper arm and press it into place
until a click is heard.
3. Replace wiper blades every 6
months for optimum performance.
TILT AND TELESCOPE STEERING COLUMN (IF EQUIPPED)
Pull the locking lever down to adjust
and telescope the steering column
position. Return the lever to its
original position to secure the
wheel.
The telescope function is adjusted
by moving the wheel toward the
driver to telescope out and toward
the instrument panel to telescope
in. Always place both hands
opposite each other to adjust.
Never adjust the steering wheel when the vehicle is moving.
