Functions of the respective switch positions are as

ON:
The engine can be started only at this position and
the headlights, taillight and meter lighting come on
when the light switch is on.
OFF:
All electrical circuits are switched off. The key can
be removed in this position.

the taillight and the meter lighting.

Set the switch to “OFF” to turn off all the lights.CAUTION:_ Do not use the headlights with the engine
turned off for more than thirty minutes. The
battery may discharge to the point that the
starter motor will not operate properly. If this
should happen, remove the battery and re-
charge it. _

Make sure that the engine stop switch is set to
“” before starting the engine. The engine stop
switch controls ignition and can be used at all
times to stop the engine, especially in an emer-
gency. The engine will not start or run when the
engine stop switch is set to “”.

CAUTION:_
Do not use accessories requiring more
than the above maximum capacity. This
may overload the circuit and cause the
fuse to blow.
If accessories are used without the engine
running or with the headlights turned on,
the battery will lose its charge and engine
starting may become difficult.
Do not use an automotive cigarette lighter
or other accessories with a plug that gets
hot because the jack can be damaged.

correct tightening torque.

1. When disassembling the master cylinder or caliper, replace the brake fluid. Normally check the brake
fluid level and add fluid as required.
2. On the inner parts of the master cylinder and caliper, replace the oil seals every two years.

Replacing a headlight bulb
If a headlight bulb burns out, replace it as follows.
1. Remove the bulb holder cover at the rear of
the headlight by pulling it off.
2. Remove the headlight bulb holder by turning
it counterclockwise.
