pedal.
Dependingonlateralacceleration,upwardshifts
onbendsarenotmadeuntiltheengine-speed
limitisreached.
Underbraking,anddependingontheamountof
deceleration,theTiptronicshiftsdownearlier.
Forsubsequentcornering,therightgearisen-
gagedwhenpressureisappliedtothebrakes
beforethebend.
Thebendistakenintherightgear,andwhen
youaccelerateoutofthebendyoudonothave
toshiftdown.
Drivingoff
In2ndgear,thevehicledrivesoffwiththe
throttleonlyslightlyopen.
Driveoffin1stgearwiththethrottleopen

Thetransmissionshiftsdowndependingonthe

Thesegear-changingspeedsremainactiveuntil
theacceleratorisreleasedtoapprox.80%of
thewideopenthrottleposition.
