(person, vehicle, tree, barrier, kerb etc) behind the vehicle. Activation With the engine running, the sys- tem is activated when reversegear is engaged; a bleep indi-cates that it is active. The proximity information is given by an audible signal, consisting ofbleeps which become faster asthe vehicle approaches theobstacle.
