From the driver's door, the keys allow you to lock and unlock thefront, passenger and rear doors. If one of the doors is open, it is impossible to operate the centrallocking. The remote control performs the same functions at a distance.The remote control key Locking Press button

ELECTRIC WINDOWS
1 - Driver's electric window.
2 - Passenger's electric window. Manual mode: Press or pull the switch lightly. The window stops as soon as the switch
is released.
Automatic mode (driver's side): Press or pull the switch firmly. One touch completely opens
or closes the window.
The exterior mirrors are divided into two zones. Turn control 3to the right or left to select the corresponding
mirror.
Move the control in all four directions to adjust.
Return the control to position 0.

STEERING WHEEL HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT When stationary, pull the control Eto unlock the steer-
ing wheel.
Adjust the height of the steeringwheel.
Lock it by pushing control E

OPENING THE BONNET Inside the vehicle: push the
control on the left-hand side,
under the fascia panel. Outside the vehicle: lift
the control, raise the bon- net and secure the strutto keep the bonnet open.
FILLING WITH FUEL This operation must be carried out with the
engine switched off.
Open the fuel filler flap by pressing the front of it.
Insert the key then turn it to the left.
Remove the cap and hook it onto the hook on the inside of the flap.
An indication on the cap shows which type of fuel to use.
When you fill your tank, do not continue after the third cut-off of the
pump. This could cause a malfunction. The capacity of the tank is approximately 70 litres. After filling the tank, lock the cap and close the flap.
Low fuel level warning light From the time this light comes on, you have approxi-
mately 8 litres of fuel left.

Zero re-set
Your PEUGEOT dealer carries out this operation after each service.
However, if you carry out the service yourself, the re-set procedure is asfollows: Place the ignition key in the MAR
position (1st notch) and wait until the spanner stops flashing,
Press the trip recorder re-set but-ton for five seconds.
The distance remaining to the nextservice is displayed. Press the trip distance recorder zero reset button for five secondsto store the operation in the
memory.
Important: after this operation, if you
wish to disconnect the battery, lockthe vehicle and wait for at least fiveminutes, otherwise the zero re-setwill not be registered. MAINTENANCE OF PARTS SUBJECT TO WEAR
AND A CHECK OF
CONSUMABLES Certain essential components on your vehicle are subject to checks at specific frequencies. ¥ The brake fluid is to be replaced at a maximum of every 36,000/40,000 miles
(60 000 km) or every two years;
¥ The coolant is to be replaced every 72,000/80,000 miles (120 000 km) or
every 5 years;
¥ The passenger compartment filter must be checked at each service
by a PEUGEOT dealer (services and intermediate visits) or more often,
depending on the environment (dust, pollution, etc.);
¥ Replacement of the timing belt: contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
¥ The check on tyre inflation presure must be carried out cold at least once a
month .

Anti-lock braking system (ABS) warning light If the warning light remains on or comes on above 7 mph (12 km/h), this
indicates an ABS system fault. Nevertheless, the vehicle retains conventional assisted braking.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Traction control (ASR) warning lightIf the warning light remains on or comes on while the engine is running
and the vehicle is moving, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.It flashes when the system comes into operation and comes on perma-
nently when the system is disarmed.
Diesel engine pre-heating warning light This comes on when the ignition is switched on.
Wait until it goes out before operating the starter.
Engine autodiagnostics warning light This comes on when the ignition is switched on. If it comes on while the engine is running, it indicates:
Ð an emission control system fault,or
Ð a particulate emission filter fault. If it flashes while the engine is running, this indicates an injection or ignition sys-
tem fault. There is a risk of destruction of the catalytic converter (petrol engineonly).
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.

Battery charge warning light This comes on when the ignition is switched on.
If it comes on while the engine isrunning, it may indicate:
Ð faulty operation of the charging circuit,
Ð slack battery or starter terminals,
Ð a cut or slack alternator belt,
Ð an alternator failure.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
Low brake fluid level warning light Illumination of this warning light while the engine is
running indicates that the handbrakeis applied or has not been released
correctly, or that the brake fluid level
is too low.
Simultaneous illumination of the ABS warning light and the low brake fluidlevel warning light indicates a brakeforce distribution system fault.
Stop immediately.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS On/Off With the ignition key in the "ON"position, the audio/telephone/GPS comes on automatically.
Switching off is also automatic when the key is turned to the "STOP"position.
You can also switch the audio/telephone/GPS on or off manually by pressing knob B.
In this case, the audio/telephone/GPS can operate for 20 minutes without the ignition being switched on. Notes:
Ð the SIM card must only be removed or inserted after switching off the audio/telephone/GPS,
Ð when the audio-telephone/GPS is switched off after 20 minutes, communication is possible by pressing button O,
Ð after the ignition has been switched off, the audio/telephone/GPS can be switched on again by pressing button Lor Oor
by inserting a CD in the player.
Anti-theft system The audio/telephone/GPS is coded so that it can only operate in your vehicle. If it is installed in another vehicle, contact yo ur
PEUGEOT dealer to have the system configured. The anti-theft system is automatic and does not require any intervention on your part. VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
Turn knob Bclockwise to increase the volume of the audio-telephone/GPS or anti-clockwise to decrease the volume.
Note: the volume setting is specific to each source. It is posible to have a different setting for the radio, CD, telephone or
voice messages.
SOUND CUT-OFF/RESTORATION
To gradually restore or cut off the volume of an audio source, press the "AUDIO OFF"button.
To gradually restore or cut off the volume of the navigation source voice messages, press the "NAV MUTE"button for more
than one second. Note: during telephone calls, the volume of the other sources is cut off automatically.
