Operation from front seat
Power sliding doors main switch:
Press (2) to disable/enable system
Opening/closing using switches:
Stop vehicle, shift into park and
apply parking brake; unlock
sliding doors and press main
switch (2) to ON position; press
left/right switches (1) to open/close
Press switch for 1 second, doors
automatically open or close after
buzzer sounds; press again to stop
Power sliding doors malfunction;
buzzer sounds continuously; press
main switch to OFF position to
disable, see your Mazda DealerOperation from rear seats
Press switch for 1 second, doors
automatically open or close after
buzzer sounds; press again to stop
Tips: The system operates only
in PARK position
The system will not operate if
one or both of the sliding
doors are locked
The system may not operate
correctly if battery voltage
is low
1. Liftgate light
OFF = Light always off
ON = Light on if door open
2. Rear interior light
ON = Light always on
DOOR = Light on if door open
OFF = Light always off3. Map lights
On/off: Press switches (7)
4. Interior lights
Slide switch (8)
OFF = Lights always off
DOOR = Lights on if door open
Rotate switch (9) clockwise/
counterclockwise for DOOR/OFF5. Sunroof tilt switch*
Operates only with ignition on
To tilt/close: Press and hold
rear/front of switch
6. Sunroof slide switch*
Operates only with ignition on
To open: Press and hold rear
of switch until panel is in
desired position
To close: Press and hold front
of switch Tip: Make sure MAIN SWITCH
is in ON position; MAIN SWITCH
ON position is when switch is
sticking outward allowing you
to see red outline on buttonWARNING: When child-safety
lock is in locked position, make
sure MAIN SWITCH is in OFF
position because child locks do
not depower door post switches

The power sliding doors can be
opened/closed by using: Exterior/
interior door handles, keyless
remote, lower dashboard power
sliding door switches and one
switch on each sliding door post

Opening/closing using door

Power sliding doors automatically
open/close by sliding door in
desired direction; buzzer will
sound before door operates
Tips: Each time switch is pressed,
a beep sounds, this is normal
If the system is completely
inoperative, both sliding doors
can be operated manually
