(9) Shut off the engine and check the fluid level,
add fluid as necessary. Start engine

read the flow meter. The reading should be 2.6 GPM
minimum, if the reading is below this specification,
the pump should be replaced.

power steering fluid and install on the rack piston/
valve assembly.
(2) Lubricate the rack piston/valve assembly with
power steering fluid.
