SB070D2-E Head restraint adjustment To raise the head restraint, pull it up. To lower it, push it down whilst pressing the lock knob. Formaximum effectiveness in the event of an acci-dent, the restraint must be adjusted so that therestraint is approximately at the level of the seatoccupant's ears. The restraint must never be soadjusted that it is centred about the level of theseat occupant's neck. WARNING: Do not operate the vehicle with the restraintsremoved. The restraints provide protectionagainst neck injury when installed and cor-rectly adjusted.
