Softbag
Softbag for stowage
compartment, inserting/
securing
e Attention:
Max. load in stowage compart-
ment 5 kg (approx. 11 lbs)
Make sure the softbag is cor-
rectly fastened.
Prop the motorcycle on its
side stand
– Make sure the ground is level and firm. Insert the softbag into the
stowage compartment as
illustrated
Pass loops 2 through the
stowage-compartment rail at
positions B, C and through
the cover at position A
Engage in hook 1

• Lay the softbag on the rear seat with the zip fastener
toward the rear
Thread front straps 4 through
loops 3 on left and right, pull
the straps taut and secure
them
Loop rear straps 5 on left and
right around the luggage car-
rier (arrow) as illustrated
Engage buckle 2 and pull the
strap taut Removal is the reverse of the
installation procedure

Topping up the coolant
level
e Attention:
The coolant level must be be-
tween the MIN and MAX marks.
Never overfill the expansion
tank.
Take care not to damage cover
insert 2 when removing.
Prop the motorcycle on its side stand
As illustrated, take a full- handed grip of cover insert 2
Without tilting the cover insert, pull it straight toward your
body as indicated by the arrow Open cap

Top up with coolant of the
correct specification

Engine cold: do not top up past
the MIN mark
Hold the motorcycle upright and recheck the coolant level;
correct if necessary
Reinstall the cap on the expansion tank
