(g)w/ Side airbag: Install the wire harness and clamp of the side airbag
through the seat cushion cover end.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the cover.
(h)Install the seatback board with the 2 screws.
21.INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a)Install the seat cushion pad to the seat cushion cover.
(b)Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover with new hog rings to the seat cushion pad.
NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the cover.

When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent
wrinkles as much as possible.
22.INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH
(a)Install the inner belt with the nut. Torque: 42 N
m (428 kgf
cm, 31 ft
lbf)
(b)Connect the connectors.
(c)Check that the inner seat belt moves smoothly.
23.INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSY LH
(a)Place the seat in the cabin.
(b)Connect the connectors under the seat.
(c)Install the seat with the 4 bolts. Torque: 37 N
m (375 kgf
cm, 27 ft
lbf)
(d)Install the 4 seat track covers.
(e)Install the headrest.

The installation is in the reverse order of the removal. However, when there is a special point concerning
the installation, it is indicated.
1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY LH AND RH
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSY CENTER
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY LH
(a) Remove the 2 hinge covers.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and seat cushion.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSY RH
(a) Remove the 2 hinge covers.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and seat cushion.
5. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and seatback.
6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSY RH
(a) Remove the bolt and seatback.
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD CARPET ASSY
LH
(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSY LH
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback.

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(a) Remove the bolt and floor anchor for the rear seat belt
assy outer center.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback.

11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB±ASSY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and seatback hinge.
12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB±ASSY RH
(a) Remove the bolt and seatback hinge.
13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB±ASSY CENTER
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback hinge.
14. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSY CENTER
(a) Remove the screw and armrest cover.
(b) Remove the bolt and armrest.
15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK
COVER LH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the
stop button grommet.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(c) Remove the 2 headrest supports.
(d) Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover together
with the pad from the seatback frame.
(e) Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover from the
seatback pad.
16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK
COVER RH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the
stop button grommet.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(c) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove
the shoulder belt cover.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(d) Remove the 4 headrest supports.
(e) Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover together
with the pad from the seatback frame.
(f) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seat-
back pad.
17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSY LH
(a) Remove the seatback lock release button.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback lock.

HINT:

(a) Pull up the 2 front portions of the seat cushion, then re-
move it.
NOTICE:
In this case, hold the base of the clip up to prevent the cush-
ion frame from being distorted.
4. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover.
5. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and the seatback.
6. REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSY RH
(a) Remove the bolt and the seatback.
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD CARPET ASSY
LH
(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSY RH
(a) Remove the bolt and floor anchor for the seat belt outer
center.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback assy.
11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB±ASSY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and seatback hinge.
12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB±ASSY RH
(a) Remove the bolt and seatback hinge.
13. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB±ASSY CENTER
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback hinge.
14. REMOVE REAR SEAT ARMREST ASSY CENTER
(a) Remove the armrest cover.
(b) Remove the bolt and armrest.
15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK
COVER LH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the
stop button grommet.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(c) Remove the 2 headrest supports.
(d) Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover together
with the pad from the seatback frame.
(e) Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover from the
seatback pad.
16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK
COVER RH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the
stop button grommet.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

the shoulder belt cover.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(d) Remove the 4 headrest supports.
(e) Remove the hog rings and the seatback cover together
with the pad from the seatback frame.
(f) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seat-
back pad.
17. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSY LH
(a) Remove the seatback lock release button.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and seatback lock.
18. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
19. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT ASSY OUTER CENTER
(a) Remove the bolt and belt.
20. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION
COVER
(a) Install the rear seat cushion cover with new hog rings to
the rear seat cushion pad.
HINT:

Do not damage the seat cushion cover nor make it dirty.

When installing the hog rings, take care to prevent
wrinkles as much as possible.
21. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER
LH
(a) Install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new
hog rings.
(b) Install the seatback cover with the pad to the seatback
frame with new hog rings.
HINT:
When installing hog rings, take care to prevent wrinkles as
much as possible.
22. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.
23. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK ASSY LH
(a) Install the seatback lock with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 30 N
m (306 kgf
cm, 22 ft
lbf)
