each time the ignition is switched on. If it comes on at over 8 m.p.h. (12 km/h.) it indicates a malfunction
of the ABS.

is too high. To lower the oil temper- ature, reduce your speed.
Diesel pre-heat light If the light comes on, wait until it goes out before trying
the starter.
If the engine is warm enough, the lightwill not come on, and you can startthe engine without waiting. Front air bags*, sideair bags** anddisarming thepassenger air bag* For operation, see section on AIR BAGS.

Oil gauge* When the ignition is switched on, this indicates the oil level: The reading is only valid if the vehicle is on level ground and the engine has
been switched off for 10 minutes.

Never exceed the maximum level onthe dipstick.
The oil level indicator switches off approximately 15 seconds after start-ing the engine.

For your safety, change the brake pads when thewarning light comes on.
