Use a mild car wash detergent, such as Mercedes-Benz
approved Car Shampoo, with plenty of water.
To prevent scratches, never apply strong force and use
only a soft, non-scratchy cloth when cleaning the lenses.
Do not attempt to wipe dirty lenses with a dry cloth or
sponge.
Window cleaning
Use a window cleaning solution on all glass surfaces. An
automotive glass cleaner is recommended.
Note:
For safety reasons, switch off wipers and remove
electronic key from steering lock before cleaning the
windshield, otherwise the wiper motor can suddenly
turn on and cause injury.Rear window cleaning
The corner flaps of the rear shelf partially cover the rear
window. This prevents the window from being fully
cleaned with the hardtop closed.
Important!
Do not manually move corner flaps of rear shelf. Doing
so will result in damage to the roof folding mechanism
that is not covered by the Mercedes-Benz Limited
Warranty.
Renewed momentary operation of hardtop switch
extends the time by another 7 minutes.
Wa r n i n g !
If a warning sounds and the indicator lamp in the
hardtop switch blinks, immediately stop cleaning
and move back from window to prevent possible
injury. The hardtop is lowered into its storage
compartment.

Prior to cleaning the inside of the rear window, operate
hardtop via the switch until rear shelf (1) is in a vertical
position. Leave key in steering lock position 2.
The roof will remain in this position for approximately
7 minutes, sufficient time for cleaning the inside of the
rear window.Wiper blades
Clean the wiper blade inserts with a clean cloth and
detergent solution.
Note:
For safety reasons, remove electronic key from starter
switch before cleaning the wiper blades, otherwise the
wiper motor can suddenly turn on and cause injury.
Light alloy wheels
Mercedes-Benz approved Wheel Care should be used for
regular cleaning of the light alloy wheels.
If possible, clean wheels once a week with
Mercedes-Benz approved Wheel Care, using a soft
bristle brush and a strong spray of water.
Follow instructions on container.
Note:
Use only acid-free cleaning materials. The acid could
lead to corrosion.
