Your vehicle has several convenient
storage areas so you can stow cargo
saf ely.
The glove box, and the pockets in
the f ront doors and seat-backs, are
designed f or small, lightweight items.
The cargo area is intended f or larger,
heavier items. In addition, the seats
in the second row can be removed
andthebenchseatinthethirdrow
can be f olded into the f loor to allow
you to carry more cargo or longer
items.
However, carrying too much cargo,
or improperly storing it, can af f ect
your vehicle’s handling, stability, and
operation and make it unsafe. Before
carrying any type of cargo, be sure to
read the f ollowing pages.

Open the tailgate.Take the tools out of the storage
compartment.The spare tire is stored under the
f loor between the f irst and second
row of seats. If the f ront seats are
adjusted to the rear-most position,
move the seats forward slightly
and adjust the seat-backs to an
upright position (see page ).
Lift up the center table (see page
).
Turn the jack’s end bracket
counterclockwise to loosen it, then
remove the jack.
Remove the cargo net.
Thetoolsandjackarebehinda
cover in the cargo area on the
driver’s side. Remove the cover by
turning the handle
counterclockwise, then pulling out
the cover.
