3. Place the height adapters on the proper peg using the
suggested combinations or by lining up the height
adapters and the transmitter button on your garage
door opener.
4. Use the hook and loop fastener found in the storage
area and attach the garage door opener securely
inside the console. Line up the transmitter button
with the height adapters.
5. Close the cover and test the GARAGE button.
If your garage door opener doesn't work after it is
installed, try another combination.
Front Center Console
Your vehicle has a center console with two storage
compartments and cupholders. The cupholders have
removable liners to hold beverage containers of different
sizes. To access the cupholders and the front storage
area, push the doors covering them back into the
console. In the front storage area you will find a place to
store a cellular phone, as well as a built
-in writing
surface. Underneath this tray is a CD storage area and
another door which can be opened to retrieve items
which may fall into the space between the console and
the sliding door. To access the CD storage area, place
your finger in the oval in the top tray and lift up.
To access the rear storage area, press the lift latch at the
front edge of the armrest and pull up. Inside are areas
which can be used to store a variety of items. The back
of the console may contain either additional cupholders
or air vents for the rear seat passengers.

Auxiliary Power Outlets
The auxiliary power outlets can be used to plug in
electrical equipment such as a cellular telephone or
CB radio.
Your vehicle has two power outlets located in the rear
storage area of the front center console. See ªFront
Center Consoleº in the Index for more information
on location.
Your vehicle may have a small cap that must be pulled
down to access the auxiliary power outlet. If it does,
when not using the outlet be sure to cover it with the
protective cap.
The auxiliary power outlets will only operate while
the ignition key is in RUN and for 10 minutes after
turning the ignition off. If you would like to operate an
accessory for an extended period of time, contact your
dealer for more information.NOTICE:
When using auxiliary power outlets:
Maximum load of any electrical equipment
should not exceed 15 amps.
Be sure to turn off any electrical equipment
when not in use. Leaving electrical equipment
on for extended periods can drain the battery.
Certain electrical accessories may not be compatible to
the auxiliary power outlet and could result in blown
vehicle or adapter fuses. If you experience a problem see
your dealer for additional information on auxiliary
power outlets.
