Cruise controlOE
d Warning:
Do not engage cruise control
when:
–Riding on twisty roads with
poor forward vision
–Heavy traffic does not ena-
ble you to maintain a con-
stant road speed
–Riding on wet, unpaved or
dirty roads
The motorcycle might exceed
your chosen cruise control
speed if the engine's braking
effect is insufficient on a
downhill gradient. It could
also drop below this speed
when riding uphill.
For safety reasons, always
keep both hands on the han-
dlebars!
L Note:
With automatic cruise control,
the range can be controlled be-
tween 40 and 160 km/h
(25 and 100 mph).
When the motorcycle is at a
standstill and – ignition “OFF” –
the system is switched off and
the stored road speed is can-
celled.
Telltale for cruise control OFF.
