Selecting a stored destination Using the direction arrows, select the directory in which the address you are looking for is stored then press the "VAL"
button. The stored addresses are displayed.
A cursor on the left-hand side of the screen indicates your position in the list. Select a description by scrolling through thelist using the direction arrows, then press the "VAL"button.
The complete address is displayed. Select the "Validate"
function then press the "VAL" button. Select a guidance crite-
rion. Guidance begins, follow the instructions.Storing an address in a directory When a new address is entered, you can store it by selecting the "Store" function.
Enter the description of the address. If the description
already exists for a different address, you can replace the oldaddress with a new one.
Select the Personal or Professional directory, then press the
"VAL" button. The address is then stored in the directory of
your choice.

Navigation options From the main menu, the "Navigation options"menu gives
access to the following parameters:
Ð Management of the directories. It enables an address stored under a description to be renamed or deleted. To do this, select the directory and the description to bechanged.
Ð Voice synthesis volume adjustment.
Ð Deletion of all data stored in the two directories.Display configuration From the general menu, the "Configure display"menu gives
access to the following parameters:
Ð Adjustment of the display brightness.
Ð Adjustment of the date and time.
Ð Selection of the language of the display and voice infor- mation (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian).
Ð Adjustment of formats and units. This enables you to choose between Km/h or Mph and degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit and to modify the format for the hours (12 or 24hour mode).

Guidance tools Access to the "Guidance tools" menu is by pressing the

Automatic comfort programmePress the "AUTO" button. The system automatically regulatesthe temperature level of the pas-senger compartment in line with
the temperature that you have selected. Toobtain the correct ambiance, it controls the
temperature, the air flow, the distributionand intake of air as well as air conditioning.3.Automatic visibility programme
In certain cases, the automat-ic comfort programme mayprove inadequate to demistor de-ice the windows
(because of humidity, numerous pas-sengers, ice etc.). In these casesselect the automatic visibility pro-gramme to rapidly clear the windows.
Automatic operation
1. Temperature setting The required temperature is displayed. Press the top and
bottom arrows to change. Asetting of approximately 21allows a comfortable settingto be obtained.

Air distribution
Successive presses of this button allow the air flow to bedirected alternately to:
Ð the windscreen (demisting or de-icing),
Ð the windscreen and the footwells,
Ð the footwells,
Ð the central and side vents and the footwells,
Ð the central and side vents.
7. Air intake Press this button to recycle
the interior air. Recirculation,
shown on the display, pre-vents the entry of unpleasant
odours and fumes from the outside.
Avoid prolonged recirculation of the
interior air. To do this, press again toreturn the system to automatic pro-cessing of the air intake.
4. Air conditioning
Press this button to stop the
air conditioning. The "ECO"symbol lights up. Press againto return to automatic opera-
tion of the air conditioning. The "A/C"symbol is displayed. 8. Switching the system off
The "OFF" button enables theentire system to be switched
off.
Temperature-related comfort is nolonger guaranteed. Pressing the "OFF", "AUTO" or "Visi-
bility" button again reactivates the
system with the values set before it
was switched off.
9. De-icing the rear window
and the mirrors
Press this button to de-ice the rear screen and the mirrors.The de-icing system switches
off automatically. It is possible
to stop the de-icing before it switches
off automatically by pressing the but-ton again. Note: this function is disarmed when
the roof is stored in the boot. Important precaution Operate the air conditioning system for 5 to 10 minutes, once or twice amonth, to keep it in perfect working
order. If the system does not produce cold
air, do not use it and contact your
PEUGEOT dealer.

Manual operation
If you wish you can make a different
choice from the one offered by the sys-
tem, by changing a setting. The otherfunctions will still be managed automat-
ically. Press the "AUTO" button to returnto completely automatic operation.
6. Air flowThe air flow may beincreased or reducedby pressing the buttons
+ or Ð respectively.
Note
The condensation created by the air condi- tioning causes a normal flow of water
under the vehicle when it stops. To preventcondensation on the inside of the vehicle in
cold or wet weather, you are advised toavoid using the "ECO" mode.

Changing the battery of the remote control
Warning that the battery is flat is given by an audible signal accompanied bythe message
''Remote control bat-
tery low'' on the multifunction display.
To replace the battery, remove thescrew then unclip the casing using acoin at the ring (CR 2016/3 volt battery). If the remote control does not work after the battery has been changed,reprogramme the remote control.
THE KEYS The keys allow you to
independently
operate the locks on the doors, the tailgate (opening), the fuel filler cap,the steering lock, the glove box andthe passenger air bag disarming con-trol and to switch on the ignition. Central locking From the driver's door the keys allow you:
Ðto lock or unlock the doors and tail-
gate simultaneously,
Ð to unlock simultaneously just thedoors.
Unlocking the boot is possible only
by using the boot key. If one of the doors is open, the central locking does not work. The remote control This fulfils the same functions as the
key, at a distance. Locking Pressing button
Alocks the vehicle by
remote control. This is displayed by the continuouslighting of the direction indicators forapproximately two seconds. Unlocking Pressing button Bunlocks just the
doors. This is shown by the rapid flashing ofthe direction indicators. Notes: if the vehicle is locked and the
unlocking control is pressed inadver- tently without the doors being openedwithin 30 seconds, the vehicle will lock
again automatically.
Avoid pressing the buttons of your remote control out of range of your
vehicle. You risk causing it not to workand the remote control would have tobe reprogrammed. Locating your car
To locate your car in a car park, if you have locked it:
press button A, the courtesy lights
come on and the direction indica- tors flash for a few seconds.
Key in ignition
A buzzer sounds on opening the dri-
ver's door, if the key has been left inthe ignition.
Programming the remote control Switch off the ignition.
Switch the ignition on again.
Press button A.
Switch off the ignition and remove the remote control key from the
ignition lock. The remote control isnow working again.

on the system. This code is hidden bya film, which should be removed only
if necessary. Keep your card in a safe place, never inside the vehicle.ELECTRONIC ENGINE IMMOBILISER This locks the engine management system as soon as the ignition has
been switched off and therefore pre-vents starting of the vehicle by anyone
who does not have the key. The ignition key has an electronic chip which has a special code. When theignition is switched on, the code isrecognised and starting is possible. If the system does not function correctly
, you are warned by an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction display. In this case, the vehicle will not start.
