8Never modify an ATV through improper instal-
lation or use of accessories.
8Never exceed the stated load capacity for an
ATV. Cargo should be properly distributed and
securely attached. Reduce speed and follow
instructions in this manual for carrying cargo
or pulling a trailer. Allow greater distance for
braking.

8Always turn off the engine when refueling.
8Do not refuel right after the engine has
been running and is still very hot.
8Do not spill gasoline on the engine or
exhaust pipe/muffler when refueling. Never
refuel while smoking, or while in the vicini-
ty of sparks, open flames, or other sources
of ignition such as the pilot lights of water
heaters and clothes dryers. Gasoline can
catch fire. You could be burned.

Engine stop switch “ENG. STOP”
Make sure that the engine stop switch is in the
“RUN” position. The engine stop switch controls
ignition and can be used at all times to stop the
engine, especially in an emergency. The engine
will not start or run when the engine stop switch
is turned to “OFF”.

Light switch “LIGHTS”
Turn the switch to the “LO” position to switch on
the low beam and the taillight.
Turn the switch to the “HI” position to switch on
the high beam and the taillight.
Turn the switch to the “OFF” position to switch off
the headlight and the taillight.
NOTE:
The headlight and the taillight can be turned on
only when the engine is started.

Coupe-circuit du moteur “ENG. STOP”
S’assurer que le coupe-circuit du moteur est
placé sur “RUN”. Le coupe-circuit du moteur
contrôle l’allumage et peut à tout moment servir
à couper le moteur. Il est particulièrement utile
en cas d’urgence. Le moteur ne se met pas en
marche ou ne tourne pas quand son coupe-circuit
est sur “OFF”.

Contacteur d’éclairage “LIGHTS”
Tourner le contacteur à la position “LO” pour
allumer le feu de croisement et le feu arrière.
Tourner le contacteur à la position “HI” pour
allumer le feu de route et le feu arrière.
Placer le contacteur sur “OFF” pour éteindre le
phare et le feu arrière.
N.B.:
Le phare et le feu arrière ne s’allument que
