Coolant temperature gauge Coolant temperature warning lampUnder normal operating conditions, the gauge may indicate a temperature of up to 100¡C.Under severe operating conditions, such as in high temperatures, the needle may approach the red zones.
If the warning lamp lights up, stop immediately, switch the engine off, the cooling fan may continue
to operate for a while , and allow to cool before checking the coolant level, taking the precautions
described in chapter IV - Maintenance - "Levels, checks".
Engine overheating can have various causes. Contact your nearest dealer.The STOP warning lamp flashes when the coolant temperature warning lamp is lit.
Engine oil levelOn switching on the ignition, the needle indicates the oil level and then returns to zero.Reading in the min. zone, check the level manually using the dipstick. Fuel gauge When the low level warning lamp comes on continuously with the vehicle on level ground, there remain approximately 5 to 7 litres of fuel in the tank. Reservoir capacity (in litres):

Horn Press the end of the stalk. Headlamp flash Pull the stalk towards you to flash headlamps.
The headlamp flash operates even with the ignition off. Direction indicators Left: move the stalk downwards.Right: move the stalk upwards.
Movement of the steering wheel returns the stalk to the off position automati-
cally. Hazard warning lamps
Operates the direction indicators simultaneously.
Use only in case of danger, emergency stop or in hazardous conditions.
Also operates with the ignition off.The direction indicators will not work when the hazard warning lamps are in use.

By pulling the stalk towards you:
Windscreen wash And headlamp washers if the dipped beams are on*.
Two headlamp wash operations at an interval of less than 10 seconds will pro-
vide effective cleaning of the headlamps.
BEWARE: When washing the vehicle, with the ignition on (for example when using an automatic car wash):
- ensure that the stalk is returned to position 0-Off.

Rear screen demister* Can only be operated with the engine running.
Press the button to switch on the rear screen (and door mirrors) electric demister.
