(1) If valve noise increases, check valve clearance.
(2) Oil filter element assembly (part No. 15208 AD200) and O-ring seal (part No. 15226 AD200) are replacement parts.
(3) Use Nissan genuine engine coolant or equivalent in its quality, in order to avoid possible aluminium corrosion within the
engine cooling system caused by the use of non-genuine engine coolant. After first replacement, replace every 40,000 km (24,
000 miles) or 24 months.
(4) If engine power decreases, black exhaust smoke is emitted or engine noise increases, check injection nozzles and, if
necessary, replace injection nozzle assembly.
(5) Never use CG-4 oil.

InstallationNLMT0008S02+Tighten LH mount, rear side mount and center member bolts.
Refer to EM-49,“Removal and Installation”.
+Tighten clutch operating cylinder bolts. Refer to CL-15,“Instal-
lation”.
+Tighten starter motor bolts. Refer to SC-19,“Removal and
Installation”.
+Install drive shafts. Refer to AX-11,“Installation”.
+Tighten all transaxle bolts and any part removed.

InstallationNLMT0090S021. Put transaxle under the engine compartment.
2. Set chain block on transaxle and hang.
3. Lift up transaxle case so as not to hit against the side frame
and suspension member.
4. Assemble transaxle to engine.
+Tighten LH mount, rear side mount and center member bolts.
Refer to EM-49,“Removal and Installation”.
+Tighten clutch operating cylinder bolts. Refer to CL-15,“Instal-
lation”.
+Tighten starter motor bolts. Refer to SC-19,“Removal and
Installation”.
+Install drive shafts. Refer to AX-11,“Installation”.
+Tighten all transaxle bolts and any part removed.

8. Install retaining pin.
+Make sure that retaining pin is flush with case.

9. Align and install speedometer drive gear into differential case.
10. Install speedometer stopper.

11. Install differential side bearing.
12. Turn differential case upside down, and install another differ-
ential side bearing on the other side in the same way.

13. Install differential gear into differential case. Apply sealant onto
mounting bolts, and tighten them in order as shown in the fig-
ure with specified torque.
