Make sure that the bonnet is securely locked.

Bonnet Pull the release lever situated below the steering column to unlockthe bonnet. Lift latch
A, located under the
centre forward edge of the bonnetand pull the bonnet up. Position the bonnet stay as shown in the illustration. Ensure that it is securely in place. Closing Reposition the bonnet stay in its clip B and push home.
Lower the bonnet and then allow itto drop shut.

SIGNALLING*31I-14Horn Press the end of the stalk. Headlamp flash Pull the stalk towards you to flash headlamps.
The headlamp flash operates even with the ignition off. Direction indicators Left: move the stalk downwards.Right: move the stalk upwards.
Movement of the steering wheel returns the stalk to the off position automati-
cally. Hazard warning lamps
Operates the direction indicators simultaneously.
Use only in case of danger, emergency stop or in hazardous conditions.
Also operates with the ignition off.The direction indicators will not work when the hazard warning lamps are in use.

Two headlamp wash operations at an interval of less than 10 seconds will pro-
vide effective cleaning of the headlamps.
BEWARE: When washing the vehicle, with the ignition on (for example when using an automatic car wash):
- ensure that the stalk is returned to position 0-Off.

the reservoir. Never run the engine without oil in the pump reservoir; the pump willbe severely damaged and couldseize. Oil quality: see Ç Lubricants and
