Level: The level should be between the
maximum and minimum
marks on the reservoir. If the warning lamp comes on while you are driving, stop immediatelyand make contact with a dealer ofthe network.

Equally you can start from position N:
- Release the handbrake, foot on the brake pedal,
- select function R, D or M, then
gradually release pressure on the brake pedal ; the vehicle imme-diately starts moving. BEWARE With the engine idling, brakes released, if function

selected, the vehicle moves evenwithout any acceleration. For this reason, never allow unsu- pervised children inside the vehiclewhen the engine is running. For any maintenance operation to be carried out with the engine run-ning, apply the handbrake andselect position P.
Starting the vehicle
To start the vehicle from position P:
- apply the brake pedal to exit posi- tion P,
- select function R, D or M, then
gradually release pressure on the brake pedal ; the vehicle imme-diately starts moving.

The oils which appear in the table opposite are suitable for most pur-poses. The diagram opposite states the optimum range of viscosity depen-ding on the temperatures at whichthe oils are to be used. It is also possible to use synthetic oils of 'superior quality'. In the absence of semi-synthetic or
synthetic oils, oils of API SH/SJquality (for petrol engines), orCD/CF quality (for diesel engines)may be used by following the'Arduous Conditions' maintenanceschedule which specifies shorterintervals. Do not hesitate to ask for advice
