When manually downshifting, the selector
lever will move into th e lower gear position,
however th e automatic transmission itself
will not downshift un til there is no possibi li
ty of over revvi ng.
Kick-down device
The kick-down device gives maximum ac
celeration when the accelerator pedal is
pressed
down past the full throttle
