Seat heater (if equipped)
CAUTION
Do not use the seat heater when the engine is not running. The
battery could run down if the heater is operated while the engine is not running. Do not put anything on the seat which insulates against heat,
such as a blanket, cushion, or similar items. This may cause theseat heater to overheat. When cleaning the seat, do not use benzine, paint thinner, or
any similar materials.
The seat heater op erates when the ig nition switc h i s either in the “ACC ”
or “ON ” p osition.

To turn on the seat heater, p ush the
“LO ” or “HI ” p osition on the switc h,
as d esired , d ep end ing on the temp erature. LO: Normal heating
HI: Rap id heating
The ind ic ator loc ated on the switc h c omes on when t he seat heater is in
op eration. When the vehic le ’s interior is warmed enoug h or b efore you
leave the vehic le, b e sure to turn the switc h off.

The fog lig hts op erate only when the head lig hts are
on low b eam.
Push the fog lig ht switc h to turn the fog lig hts on .
Press the switc h ag ain to turn them off.

The ind ic ator lig ht loc ated on the switc h will illu minate when the fog
lig hts are on.
Wiper and washer
WARNING
In freezing weather, do not use the windshield washer until the
windshield is sufficiently warmed by the defroster.Otherwise the washer fluid can freeze on the windshield, blocking
your view.
CAUTION
Do not operate the washer continuously for more than ten se-
conds, or when the washer fluid tank is empty. This may cause
overheating of the washer motor. Check the washer fluid level fre-
quently, such as at fuel stops.

This d ial has the following five p ositions:
: Air flows throug h the instrument p anel outlets.
: Air flows throug h the instrument p anel outlets and the foot
outlets.
: Air flows throug h the foot outlets and some throug h the wind -
shield d efroster outlets.
: Air flows throug h the wind shield d efroster outlets and foot
outlets.
: Air flows throug h the wind shield d efroster outlets .
Temperature control dial
This d ial reg ulates the hot air flow from the heate r over a rang e from
the b lue area (c ool) to red area (warm). Fan speed control lever
The fan op erates only when the ig nition switc h is t urned to the “ON ”
p osition. The fan sp eed c ontrol lever is used to se lec t four fan
sp eed s.

Warm air also c omes out from the rig ht and left air
outlets. To stop
warm air flow from these outlets, turn the c orresp o nd ing thumb -wheel

To d irec t warm air toward the floor and the wind shi eld :
1. Set the air inlet selec tion lever to the “
” p osition.
2. Set the air outlet c ontrol d ial to the “
” p osition.
3. Set the temp erature c ontrol d ial to the most c omf ortab le level.
4. Set the fan sp eed c ontrol lever to the d esired sp eed .
Warm air also c omes out from the rig ht and left air outlets. To stop
