The cover of the overhead console box and auxiliary holder (stored in the
glovebox) are interchangeable.

Removing the cover
Fully open the cover. Pinch each hinge and pull it out of its pivot one by one
as shown above.
Do not remove the cover forcibly.

Installing the auxiliary holder
Align the hinges to the pivots, and press each hinge with a thumb until you
hear a click.
Make sure the holder opens and closes smoothly.

To use the auxiliary holder, open it as shown above.
CAUTION
To reduce the chance of injury in case of an accident or a
sudden stop, always keep the auxiliary holder closed while
driving.
NOTICE
In hot weather, inside of the vehicle becomes very hot. Do not leave
anything flammable or deformable such as a lighter, the glasses, etc.
inside.

To open the hood, pull the hood lock release lever under the instrument
panel. The hood will spring up slightly.

Insert your fingers under the hood, push up the auxiliary catch lever and
lift the hood.Before closing the hood, check to see that you have not forgotten any tools,
rags, etc. Then lower the hood and make sure it locks.
CAUTION
Before driving, be sure that the hood is securely locked.
Otherwise,
the hood may open unexpectedly while driving and
an accident may occur.

1. Turn the ignition switch off and remove the auxiliary box.
Determine which fuse may be causing the problem. The auxiliary box shows
the name of the circuit for each fuse.
