Work step 4: Diagnosis of EVAP canister
purge regulator valve

- Start engine (vehicles with manual transmission
depress clutch pedal)

Note:
If necessary, ECM must be re-selected with the
"address word" 01 following engine start, and the
function "initiate basic setting" selected with "04."

Coolant temperature > 85 C (display group
4, display field 3)
