CAUTION-
Plug
the
openings
in
the
pump
and
hoseends

dirt

entering

hydraulic
system

remove
other
components
to
gain
access
to
the
steering
gear
.

Make
sure

thread
bores,
bolts,
nuts,
splines
and
mating
surfaces
are
clean
.
Use
new
self-locking
nuts
wherever
applicable
.

Use
marks
made
during
removal
to
reassemble
steer-
ing
column
universal
jointto
steering
stub
shaft
.
Make
sure
wheels
are
straight
ahead
.

Use
a
new
sealing
washer
on

fitting
