Luggage Carrier (Option)
A CAUTION:
If you try to carry something on top of your
vehicle that is longer or wider than the luggage
carrier
-- like paneling, plywood, a mattress, and
so forth -- the wind can catch it as you drive
along. This can cause you to lose control. What
you are carrying could be violently torn
off, and
this could cause you or other drivers to have a
collision, and
of course damage your vehicle. You
may be able to carry something like this inside.
But, never carry something longer or wider than
the luggage carrier on top
of your vehicle.
If you have the optional luggage carrier, you can load
things on top
of your vehicle. The luggage carrier has
slats and side rails attached
to the roof, as well as sliding
crossrails and places
to use for tying things down. These
let you load some things on
top of your vehicle, as long
as they are not wider or longer than the luggage carrier.

Integrated Roof Antenna
‘Your state-of-the-art integrated roof antenna is not
visible. It is located between the roof and headliner
of
your vehicle, covering the entire roof area from the rear
edge
of the front doors to the liftgate.
NOTICE:
Don’t mount anything to your roof or headliner,
such as an antenna or a luggage carrier.
If you
puncture the roof or headliner, you could damage or destroy your integrated roof antenna. Have
any work
of this type done by your retailer.
If you want to add a mobile phone or two-way radio to
your vehicle, there are special precautions you’ll need to
take because of your integrated roof antenna. See
“Adding Sound Equipment” in the Index.
