Jump
Starting
Car

Cars
with
discharged
or
dead
batteries
can
be
jump-started
using
the
good
battery
from
another
car
.
When
jump-starting

the
engine,
always
note
the
following
warnings

battery

safe
place
to

turn
the

off

the
hood
and
allow

the
engine
to
cool
until
the
temperature
gauge
needle
is
at
the

thirdof
the
scale

Continuing
to
drive
an
overheated
car

can
cause
extensive
engine
damage

remove

coolant
reservoir
or

cap
with

engine
hot

Undoing
either
couldspray

coolant

the
engine
