1. Raise the tailgate
slightly and
remove both
retaining cables.
To remove each
cable, turn it
so
the end faces the
front. Then, push
forward
so the
larger part of the
hole is over the
bolt. Pull the end
over the bolt.
2. Lift the tailgate at the right side and
pull it out at the left
side. (The tailgate
must be about
halfway down, or
the right side will
not come out.)
Reverse the
procedure to
reinstall. Make
sure the tailgate
is secure.
Leaving Your Vehicle
lr you are leaving the vehicle, take your keys, open your door and set the
locks from inside. Then get out and close the door.
Keyless Entry System
If your vehicle has this option, you can lock and unlock your doors from up
to
30 feet (9 m) away using the key chain transmitter supplied with your
vehicle.

a radio frequency subject to Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) Rules.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following
two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful
interference, and
(2) This device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.

dome lamp on by
turning the INT
LIGHTS dimmer
switch up until it
clicks.
Mirrors
Inside Mirror
If your vehicle has optional map lamps, they will automatically come on for
approximately
20 seconds when either front door is opened or unlocked
with
the Keyless Entry system, if so equipped, or until the ignition is turned
to RUN or ACC. The lights will also stay on for approximately 15 seconds
after you exit the vehicle.
They will also stay on for 15 seconds when the interior light switch on the
dash is turned
on then off, while the ignition is off.
