Cleaning
Problems

Common
cleaning
problems
with
thewipers
includestreak-

ing
or
sheeting,
waterdrops
after
wiping,
and
blade
chatter
.

Streaking
is
usually
caused
when
wiper
blades
are
coated

with
road
film
or
car
wash
wax
.
Clean
the
blades
using
soapy

water
.
If
cleaning
does
not
cure
the
problem,
the
blades
should
be
replaced
.
BMW
recommends
replacing
the
wiper

blades
twice
a
year,
before
and
after
the
cold
season
.

blades

windshield

described

the
wiper
arm

the
blade,

so
that
the

blade
at
rest
is
perpendicular

the
windshield

problems

arms

be
replaced

blades

be
renewed
in
one

ways

replacing

complete
blade

replacing
