poor-running
engine,

indicate
ignition
coil
problems,
cracked
or
dete-
riorated
spark
plug
wires
(4-cylinder
engines
only),
and
worn
or
fouled
spark
plugs
.
WARNING
-
Inefficient
combustion
(richair/fuel
mixture)
can
cause
the
catalytic
converter
to
overheat
and
plug
.
An
overheated
catalytic
converter
can
also
bea
tire
hazard
.

differences

poor-firing
plug
may
be
wet
with
fuel
and/or
black

sooty,

a
coil
is
not
operating,
the
engine
management
system
will
electrically
disable
the
fuel
injectorto

cylinder
