Pull the lever forward and release it.
Repeat this until you have comfortable support.
TRUNK STORAGE EXTENSION

Lock
Pull down the center armrest in the rear seat. Pull the lever
of the armrest door and open the armrest door.
Access to the trunk can be prevented by locking the armrest
door with the master key.
Bag
Cover
Open the cover and pull out the bag. You can insert long
items such as skiis into the bag from the trunk
compartment to avoid soiling the interior of your Lexus.
See “Luggage stowage precautions” on page 36 for luggage
leading hints
NOTICE:
When putting ski equipment in the bag, make sure the
ski equipment is fully dry.

47 To fold the bag back into the bag case, perform the following
steps.1. Push in the side seams so that the bag folds as shown in the
illustration.
2. Roll up the bag around the end surface.
3. Pack the rolled up bag into its storage case and close the
covers of the storage case.
4. Secure the tabs at the top and bottom of the case.
Sliding the bag case to the right gives you easy access to
the trunk from the rear seat.

60CAUTION:
After installation, make sure the child restraint system is
secured in place. If the child restraint system is not
restrained securely, it may cause injury to the child in the
event of sudden stop or accident.
When not using the child restraint system, keep it secured with
the seat belt or remove it and place it in the trunk or somewhere
other than in the vehicle to prevent injury to passengers in the
event of a sudden stop or accident.
INSTALLATION ON REAR SEAT CENTER
Top strap
Anchor bracket
1. Fasten the center lap belt over the child restraint system.
2. Tighten the lap belt.
If your child restraint system requires the use of a top strap,
latch the hook onto the anchor bracket and tighten the top
strap.
INSTALLATION ON REAR SEAT OUTSIDE

Anchor bracket
1. Fasten the lap and shoulder belt over the child restraint
system
2. Keep slack out of the lap portion of the belt.
3. Holding the tab in that position, release the buckle.
4. Install a locking clip near the tab of the lap and shoulder belt.

5. Buckle the belt again.
6. Place the shoulder portion of the belt between the vehicle
seatback and the child restraint system.
